Pwani Region, Tanzania – Kiluwa Group recently welcomed a high-level delegation from the Republic of Burundi led by the Minister of Industry, Dr. Hassan Kibeya, during an official visit to Kiluwa Industrial Park, one of Tanzania’s emerging industrial investment hubs.

The visit formed part of the Burundian delegation’s working tour in Tanzania aimed at exploring opportunities for industrial development, investment partnerships, and regional economic cooperation. During the tour, the delegation was introduced to the ongoing developments within Kiluwa Industrial Park and gained first-hand insight into the scale of investment and infrastructure being established to support manufacturing and industrial growth.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Hassan Kibeya expressed his admiration for the progress achieved by Kiluwa Group in developing a modern industrial ecosystem that supports investors and contributes to economic development. He noted that the investment has attracted significant interest from the Government of Burundi and highlighted the potential for future collaboration between Burundi and Kiluwa Group.

“The development we have witnessed here demonstrates the important role that private sector investment can play in accelerating industrialization and creating opportunities for economic growth across the region,” said Dr. Kibeya.

The delegation also included Burundi’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Leontine Nzeyimana, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Burundi, Dr. Suwadu Bugoma. The visitors were hosted by Mr. Mohamed Kiluwa, Chairman of Kiluwa Group, who shared the company’s vision of building world-class industrial infrastructure that serves both local and international investors.

Mr. Mohamed Kiluwa emphasized the importance of regional partnerships in driving sustainable development and strengthening economic ties among East African nations.
